Our congress continues to push for comprehensive sexual education programs to extend beyond our national boundaries and reach teens across the globe. The US House of Representatives recently introduced the Global Sexual and Reproductive Health Act of 2010. This sweeping legislation would enable our tax dollars to fund foreign programs teaching about sex, condoms and abortion. Perhaps our own STD epidemic is not enough evidence that this kind of program fails to protect youth from the reckless choices that can change their lives forever.
