"Safe Sex" is Not that Safe
Many schools and sex educators promote that premarital sex is healthy so long as it is “safe”, but this is a major topic of concern! While many sexually transmitted diseases (STD’s) are preventable by the use of condoms you can still catch STD’s even while using a condom. It amazes me that people are taught that using a condom is safe. It maybe safer, but the risk is still there. Anytime a person has sex with someone that has an STD, they run the risk of catching it, and not all STD’s are visible, which means that both people may not even know that they are at risk for spreading it. After asking the question, “Did you know that you can still get an STD even if you use a condom?” online I received quite a few responses from people. Many of them knew this…sadly some people did not. Take a look for yourself the link is in our forum under our STD section.
